(microcontroller.com) - Silicon Storage Technology  has entered the 8051 microcontroller marketplace with its new flash-based 8051 family, p/n SST89C54/58/59 with up to 64K on-chip Flash.

Pricing and Availability
The SST89C54/58/59 will be priced at $4.85 / $6.18 / $8.00, respectively, for "high-volume production quantities". Samples of the '54 & '58 are available today, with production quantities available 2Q99. The SST89C59 will be available before the end of this year.
