Microcontroller Cores (new products)

Date:

19-Oct-1998

Santa Clara, Calif. (microcontroller.com) - Scenix Semiconductor  introduced two new microcontrollers today, p/ns SX18AC100 and SX28AC100, each capable of 100MHz operation and a 10ns instruction cycle time .

The Scenix SX family is manufactured in an 0.5µ CMOS process. The microcontroller family has a 4-stage pipeline, a modified Harvard architecture, and a RISC-style instruction set. Interrupt latency is 3 cycles.

Features
p/ns: SX18AC100, SX28AC100

  • 8-bit RISC Core - Register-based architecture
  • 5V operation
  • 2Kx12 Flash Memory
  • 136x8 SRAM
  • 8-bit Watchdog Timer
  • 8-bit Timer with Prescaler
  • Analog comparator
  • Power-On Reset (POR)
  • Brownout Detector (4.2V trigger)
  • 8-pin Multiple Input Wakeup (MIWU)
