AZ (microcontroller.com) - Microchip Technology introduced a new family of 8-bit
microcontrollers - the PIC18Cxxx - that will
support higher clock speeds and a new selection of advanced serial peripherals. The first four microcontrollers in the new PIC18Cxxx 8-bit microcontroller family will support the CAN 2.0b microcontroller family (see related story) and will have an extended linear program memory addressing range of 2Mbytes. Additional members of the PIC18Cxxx family will support the Universal Serial Bus (USB) The PIC18Cxxx family will be Microchip's high-end microcontroller family. Features
